Home & Leisure ShowPresented by Fergus Lions
To Our Home Show Exhibitors:
First of all, welcome to 2021 and hopefully a better year than 2020. After considerable discussion it has been decided to again postpone our Annual Fergus Lions Home & Leisure Show until 2022.
While our Home & Leisure Show has been postponed until 2022 the Lions Club are continuing to look for opportunities to fund our ongoing commitments in our Community & to our Charities that we sponsor each year. Something that we as a club are very concerned about. The Annual Home & Leisure Show is a major fundraiser for our club and has an impact on our fundraising dollars for this year and next. The Home Show has run continually for 42 years up until 2020 when we cancelled it for the first time.
Some of our many clubs/events that we sponsor:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Canadian Diabetes Association
- Centre Wellington Food Bank
- Annual Fergus Lions Toy Drive
- Centre Wellington Road Side Cleanup
- Centre Wellington Learning Centre
- CNIB Programs
- Community Service
- Vision Screening
- Youth Camp
- Fergus Lions Santa Claus Parade
- CW High School Commencement
As the Club works to fulfill these commitments we look for further opportunities for you to participate in with us to support these causes.
Please watch for further emails from us as we complete these plans and look forward to your support.
Please feel free to contact myself or Ian for any further information.

How it Began
The year was 1978 and this event has been held successfully on an annual basis growing in size and stature each year. In 2016 the Show hosted over 150 Exhibitors with over 200 booths. Along the way, the Club introduced a Friday Night Fish Fry catered this year by the Fergus Curling Club, serving Georgian Bay whitefish. A popular seating arrangement allowed Exhibitors to eat early in order to return to their booths for opening on the final night of the Show.
The show runs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 5:30 until 9:30 PM May 8th, 9th and 10th in 2019. We promote the show throughout Wellington County and surrounding municipalities using community TV, radio and print media and to ensure complete coverage, we distribute a 12 page flyer to 48,000 homes. Space is made available for exhibitors to participate with us.
Admission to the Show is free. The public is encouraged to make a contribution to the Local Food Bank.
An Exhibitors Application is on the web site with pricing and other terms of participation.
