Fergus Lions Club
The Fergus lions club was chartered in 1977. Over the past 47 years our motto “WE SERVE” has been fulfilled by supporting local agencies that support folks less fortunate.
Our Work
Our 2024-2025 members collectively made the $70,000 donation to our community possible. In the past years, we have donated $40,000 on average to those agencies.
We regularly consume in excess of 500 volunteer hours per year to fulfill this demand.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Wellington Learning Centre
Eyeglass Recycling
Diabetes Canada
Habitat for Humanity
Centre Wellington High School Bursaries and Scholarships
These are but a few of the 30 recipients of our donations. To continue in our quest, we need help in the form of new members. Currently there are 16 males and 3 females in the club Our meetings run the second and fourth Tuesday from September thru June from 7pm. The second Tuesday is a more of social gathering having dinner at a local restaurant while the fourth meeting is a business meeting currently being held at the Masons Hall.

Fergus Santa Claus Parade
The 2024 "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" themed parade was a resounding success. A big thank you to all the spectators, volunteers, and parade participants who made it such a memorable event. See you next year!!
