Join us for the 2026 Fergus Santa Claus Parade on Saturday December 5th! We welcome commercial floats, charities, non-profits, service clubs, youth groups, school groups and other community entries.
Maximum of 3 vehicles per entry.
New for 2026: Commercial floats require a minimum $50 donation for parade registration. There is no charge for non-commercial floats or groups, although donations are appreciated. Funds raised will be used to update Santa’s transportation.
Registration tents will be located at the west end of the A.O. Smith Parking Lot

- Complete the form and email it to

- Commercial floats: Send the minimum $50 donation by e-transfer to culbert710@gmail.com.

Floats Assemble: 12:30 p.m.
Parade Starts: 1:30 p.m.
Assembly Location: A.O. Smith Parking Lot
599 Hill St. W., Fergus
Important Safety Information
- Candies and other handouts must be hand delivered.
- Floats carrying passengers require a safety railing around the passenger seating. All seats must be secured, and the driver must have clear visibility to the front and sides.
- No open fires are permitted on floats.
- Drivers must have a valid driver’s licence and liability insurance and follow the Ontario Traffic Act.
- Tractors pulling floats are acceptable with a valid driver.
- Each new vehicle provided by a dealership requires a dealer plate.
- Poop & Scoop is mandatory for horses and dogs.
- Entrants must remain on the parade route until reaching the disbursement point at the A.O. Smith Parking Lot.
- Except on the parade route, people are not permitted to ride on floats travelling on other streets.
